About our yoga classes

Become inspired, find your center and create more energy in your life. Commit to making time with yourself and it will have a profound impact on your life. Dedicating to your practice will transform not only your mind, body, bring radiant health, reduce anxiety but will also allow you to give your best in all you do. 

Motǐ Yoga offers both group and private instruction in Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga. It focuses on working with practitioners who recently decided to start their journey with yoga or are wishing for themselves to come back to their previous practice.

Ashtanga Yoga

The term "Ashtanga Yoga" comes from the “Yoga-Sutra” of Patañjali where it refers to the traditional yoga's eight-limb practice for the well-being and purification of body, mind and soul. The eight limbs are: Yamas (social ethics), Niyamas (personal ethics), Asanas (Yoga postures), Pranayama (breath control), Pratayahara (withdrawal of the senses), Dharana (Concentration), Dhyana (Meditation), Samadhi - (the highest state of consciousness).

Alignment

Everyone’s body has limitations and strengths. By applying working knowledge of the body and anatomical principles, we strive to help you to understand how to stay connected to your body and practice in a safe way. Our classes are based on B. K. S. Iyengar alignment principles,  integrating deep core work with correct alignment using props and combining active dynamic exercises.

Creating an inspirational and full of warmth environment is an essential pillar of MY practice. MY classes are slow-paced with a focus on self-awareness, presence, and modifying for individual needs. In designing every class we draw on teachings from influential Buddhist thinkers and philosophers. You will leave the class feeling calm, relaxed, refreshed, connected and inspired to practice more.
